UMD in de media:

Met opbrengsten uit de VriendenLoterij PrijzenMarathon heeft Stichting Metakids in 2018 het samenwerkingsverband (UMD) van zes universitaire ziekenhuizen kunnen faciliteren. Inmiddels is het UMD uitgegroeid tot een succesvol en duurzaam samenwerkingsverband. Het meest recente succes is de 3FM Serious Request actie voor Metakids. Met deze opbrengst kan het UMD de komende jaren verder onderzoek doen. Met als doel om over 10 jaar de helft van alle metabole patiënten te behandelen.
